Freswota Branch Opening

Bank South Pacific (BSP) Vanuatu has unbolted its new branch in Freswota Port Vila, bringing the number of BSP branches in Vanuatu to four.

The BSP Freswota branch is the new addition to the three existing BSP branches in the country- BSP Port Vila Branch, BSP Santo Branch and BSP Tanna Branch.

The branch was officially opened by BSP Group Chairman Sir Kostas Constantinou and BSP Group CEO Robin Fleming on March 14th, 2019.

In opening the branch to the public, Sir Kostas said, "BSP as the leading bank in the Pacific continues to actively pursue opportunities to expand financial services to contribute to the economic development of the countries it operates in the Pacific."

"This is another significant step forward in the Bank's expansion strategy. It is in pursuance of the Bank's growth strategy and network expansion that aims to strengthens BSP's presence in the communities," Sir Kostas said.

 Mr Fleming also cited that, "The Branch is poised to provide high-quality, timely and efficient banking services to meet the needs of customers in and around the area of Freswota and Port Vila."

"We are pleased to now have a presence in Freswota to provide services to the residents and business owners of this vibrant community," Mr Fleming said.

The branch's modern interior is aimed at improving the customer experience with an open layout and comfortable meeting atmosphere.  It features a spacious banking chamber, 2 meeting areas, 5   teller booths, a commercial banking area, 4 customer service desks with 12 branch staff in total.  A 24-hour drive-up ATM is also available at the branch for customer use after bank hours.
